Harmony :: Beauty
The Navajo have a prayer, which is deeply healing. All prayers and rituals are born unique to a people, the Walk in Beauty Prayer is best understood by the Navajo but that does not mean it is completely lost on people outside the Diné. I came across the Navajo Prayer about the time my life was in a sad chaos and since it was based on finding harmony in relationships and nature, I grasped it and held on. I would walk the beach in the morning repeating the chant. Over several months, the prayer evolved and molded itself to the needs in my life, providing a profound healing. I share it with you but know that it is only based on the Navajo prayer and modified for my life. Try it and modify your own.
